Shared Kai
Dear Parents, thank you so much for providing such wonderful fruit for our shared kai. I thought we would have plenty left but all of the children ate lots. We discussed how fortunate we are to have such delicious, nutritious food available to us. We also talked about how we were able to provide the fruit using no packaging and the peel was all recyclable.

Soooooo Cute

Our Inquiry is Rubbish
Did that get your attention? Our inquiry is all about rubbish and we have been working hard inquiring into what litter we create and how we can reduce it. We categorised the litter at school and discussed what could or could not be recycled and we had fun. We are committed to reducing the litter at school. All in a days work for Ruma Tui and Ruma Kea.

Top 5 IXL Users for Week 4
Well, well, well....These are the top 5 users for this week. Thomas Frendrup is proudly in first place with a whopping 1 hour and 26 minutes. William Bodle is in 2nd place with 56 minutes. Anna Atkinson is 3rd with 25 minutes, Abbey Morrison in fourth position with 24 minutes and Paris Campbell is fifth with 16 minutes. Huge congratulations to you all but massive congratulations must go to Thomas, he has been really trying with all of his studies this week. Keep going Thomas, we are all behind you.
Dear Parents, IXL's free trial is coming to an end. I have been notified that a classroom licence would cost each family just over $12. You can also purchase to use at home but a classroom licence would allow us to use at home and at school. I would love all of your feedback on this. Personally I would love the licence to continue as I have already noticed a difference in ability with the students that use the site regularly. Look forward to hearing from you.
